Market Thymes Newsletter - April 15, 2017

Our mission: to celebrate agriculture and to connect our community

in a fun, vibrant, social and educational setting.

Market Highlights

Welcome to the Abbotsford Farm and Country Market, 2017 series.

We are here every Saturday through December 16. We’ll start with four of our remaining winter series markets and then on May 13 kick off the new summer season with live entertainment and special events.

Friesen is bringing fresh-picked salad greens, kale and green onions. Ann will also have veggie bedding plants.

New vendor joining us for the first time this week is Heartwood Products. They make cedar planter boxes.

Big Mac is joining us to spice up our first outing in 2017. Warmerdam Flower Farm will be on hand, likely with some fresh-cut tulips. And also look for the Abbotsford Community Services Garden Project with micro greens.

The latest edition of Edible Vancouver and Wine Country Magazine is out and your free copy is at the Market Info booth.

Where's Abbie?

Market mascot, Abbie spends market days visiting with vendors. We invite our younger customers  to find Abbie, come to the Market Info tent and tell us where you think you found her. If you are right, you get to choose a gift out of Abbie’s prize trunk.
